Like most of you out there I’m a “sneaker freak,” it’s an exciting hobby that continues to dig deep holes in my non existent pockets. I was born and raised in Portland Oregon a town where EVERYONE has access to the “ES.” What’s the ES? It’s the street term for the Nike Employee store, extremely exciting if you ask me! At 40-50% off new Nike releases, I was inhaling multiple pairs of sneakers on the weekly!
Anywho, back to my creative assets. As an industrial designer I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to work with a few fresh names out there including Nike, Adidas, Puma, Pearl Izumi, etc… but unfortunately designing sneakers on a daily basis isn’t my cup of tea… So here i am, rocking out a fresh pair for kicks and giggles!
Let’s be honest, ACGs are off-road/trail shoes that are mostly worn on the streets… so why not fuse ‘em with some street friendly light weight sneaker materials and finish!
